Luck of the Draw Outfitters is located in Lucas county, Iowa and is
owned and operated by Randy Miller, Steve Hermann and Jeremy
Hermann.  We have over 70 years of hunting experience between
the three of us.  We privately own over 2000 acres of hunting and
farm land.  We do not lease land due to our success rate we have
on our own property, the proof is in the pictures.  

At Luck of the Draw Outfitters we offer some of Iowa's best deer
and turkey hunting. Our land has been managed to offer an
abundance of trophy deer and turkey.  1000 acres of corn, alfalfa,
soybeans, and food plots keep the wildlife from having to roam
for food.  Not great for farming, but excellent for the hunting.

We are not a fancy high priced outfitter. That's why our rates are
affordable.  We don't have trophy fees or charge a lot for non
hunting members.  You pay to hunt the best spot in Iowa, not to
sit in a luxury lodge.  You can't shoot a trophy buck sitting in a
leather recliner.


Now a little about our name. Luck of the Draw Outfitters wanted
something unique and that people related to.  As you know the
saying goes "It's like winning the lottery if you draw a tag to hunt
in Iowa."  To add to that was the analogy of having the luck of the
draw while taking down that prize trophy with your bow.

Coming  East from Chariton-  we are 2 miles North of the Russell Livestock  Market off of Hwy 34 on 320th Ave, then 1 mile West.

Coming West from Albia - we are 2 miles North of Hwy 34 on 320th Ave, then 1 mile West.
